Welcome to the Littlehampton and District Camera Club, a vibrant community of photography enthusiasts in West Sussex. Established in 1945, our club has a rich history of fostering photographic talent and appreciation in Littlehampton and its surrounding areas.
We meet every Wednesday evening from September through May at the Methodist Church Hall on Claigmar Road, Rustington. Our gatherings, starting at 7:15 PM, offer a diverse programme that includes guest speakers, practical workshops, and various competitions.
Our competitions, judged by external experts, cover a range of categories such as Merit Print, Merit Slide, Landscape, Human Portrait, and more. These events provide members with opportunities to showcase their work and receive constructive feedback.
Beyond competitions, we organise outings to captivating photographic destinations. Recent trips have included visits to Camden Market, Greenwich, the British Wildlife Centre, and Kew Gardens. These excursions offer members the chance to explore new environments and hone their skills.
Our club is affiliated with the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the Southern Counties Photographic Federation, connecting us with a broader network of photography clubs and resources.
Whether you're an experienced photographer or just starting out, the Littlehampton and District Camera Club welcomes you to join us in exploring the art and science of photography.
